Kiehl's and Derek Zoolander Partner in the 'Noble Fight Against Aging'

READ TIME: 3 MIN.

Kiehl's Since 1851, the official beauty partner for "Zoolander No. 2," has joined forces with the film's star Derek Zoolander in the noble fight against aging. The skincare experts at Kiehl's know a thing or two about aging gracefully, which is why the 165 year-old company and legendary male model are a match made in wrinkle cream heaven.

"We are thrilled to partner with Derek in the release of his latest film, 'Zoolander No. 2,'" shares Cheryl Vitali, General Manager of Kiehl's Worldwide. "Derek has always expressed a great passion for having ridiculously good-looking skin so we felt it was a natural fit to collaborate with him in launching limited edition Kiehl's x Zoolander2 sets for men and women. We also wanted to support his film and share this exciting project with our customers."

To celebrate the film's upcoming release, Kiehl's will introduce two limited edition Kiehl's x Zoolander2 sets - 'The Ridiculously Youthful Collection' a unisex anti-aging kit (retail value $26 USD), and the "Blue Kiehl" men's collection (retail value $25 USD). Both sets will feature a carefully curated selection of iconic Kiehl's products that will be available for purchase at U.S. locations starting February 9, 2016 and on Kiehls.com on February 2, 2016.

"It was our pleasure to assist Derek in bringing the Blue Kiehl collection to the world" commented LeeAnne Stables, President of Worldwide Marketing Partnerships and Licensing for Paramount. "We hope his fans will benefit from these amazing products and look much younger when they go to see the film opening February 12."

The Derek Zoolander Center for People Who Don't Age Good

On February 9, Kiehl's Since 1851 and Derek Zoolander will continue their joint crusade against aging with the introduction of The Derek Zoolander Center for People Who Don't Age Good (DZCFPWDAG), a state-of-the-art, anti-aging center in New York City. The public will be invited to experience the center's patented 6.5 step youthification program, which works to combat the signs of aging, and help people age good.

The Center will be located in the heart of New York City's trendiest neighborhood, the Meatpacking District, at the intersection of 8th Avenue and 14th street. Derek handpicked the site for its proximity to some of the most fashionable night clubs, fitness studios, and because this neighborhood has one of NYC's largest populations of ridiculously good looking people.

DZCFPWDAG's proven 6.5 step program was born out Derek's aversion to other, traditional 12-step processes, and his desire for a leaner, more efficient approach to an issue affecting the population at large. Kiehl's, Derek's expert counterpart in this ambitious endeavor, has injected their 165 years of skincare prowess into the program, ensuring maximum youthification in every single step and a half.

Clients at the Derek Zoolander Center for People Who Don't Age Good can expect to be guided along their youthification journey by ridiculously good-looking and supple-skinned, male models. Each step of the program has its own dedicated activation within the center and targets a specific ailment of aging - whether that's Phalangeal Preservation, Scents or Sensibility test or Decontamination, among others. Each experience works to reverse the effects of aging through the application of trusted products from Kiehl's, the ageless New York apothecary.

Special limited edition, Kiehl's x Zoolander 2 skincare sets will be available for purchase at The Center, along with other Kiehl's customer favorites. The Center will be open to the public Tuesday, February 9 through Thursday, February 11 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday, February 12 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, February 13 from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.

In order to further achieve their goal of reaching the 100 percent of the population impacted by aging, Derek Zoolander and Kiehl's will bring the DZCFPWDAG experience to the worldwide web at: TheDerekZoolanderCenterForPeopleWhoDon'tAgeGood.org
