Photos of a London-based artist have gone viral after claiming he had his nipples and belly button removed to be turned into jewelry, the Daily Mail reports.

Karim Boumjimar, an 18-year-old Spanish-Moroccan artist, posted shirtless photos of his body, appearing to not have nipples or a belly button. Boumjimar, who reportedly appeared on Zayn's "Befour" music video, said he used foundation to cover up his scars in the shirtless selfies that have gone viral, according to the Daily Mail. The newspaper also reports the artist's nipple-earrings are to be sold for about $145 USD, but he is hoping to earn more for them so he can make back the money for the cost of surgery.

Speaking with Dazed magazine, Boumjimar said the operation "wasn't really done legally" and said he was given "so many drugs." He's claimed that the removal of his nipples has made him "become so fast at swimming."

"I'll see y'all at the Olympics!" he recently tweeted to his 3,114 followers.

He also took to Twitter to write:

He's also said he wants to travel to Bosnia "to get more body altercations."

"[I might get] something with my feet, like attach something to them," he told Dazed, adding that he probably won't be cutting off his tongue.
