Gay Day at the Circus Spectacular!

Sunday March 4 2018, 1PM Lachis Theater, Brattleboro VT join us for "GAY DAY AT THE CIRCUS SPECTACULAR!" presented by the New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA)!

What could be better that nimble athletic bodies performing acrobatic feats for your thrills, pleasure and delight?

Scott & Dave from Frog Meadow have organized a social gathering of the LGBTQ Community in support of New England Center for Circus Arts' (NECCA) annual Circus Spectacular. Please join us for this annual super-fun event! It's a great way to socially reconnect during mid-winter and support an organization that truly makes a difference in nourishing our local community and the LGBTQ community in particular!

What's a Circus Spectacular you ask? For this very special, once-a-year benefit event, the New England Center for Circus Arts invites NECCA alumni and professional performers from around the world to donate their talents to raise money for Circus in the Neighborhood, NECCA's outreach and scholarship programs that among other things helps at-risk, LGBT and questioning youth. NECCA provides them with the opportunity to discover, develop themselves and grow in an unconditional and nurturing LGBT friendly environment that they can call home.

I know the difference that an organization like NECCA can make in the lives of kids and adults who may be a bit different than the mainstream. As an adult who has competed several times in the Gay Games as well as in gay masters swimming leagues, I have experienced firsthand the joy that athletics and movement have brought to myself and to others. Moreover, I know the Circus Spectacular will be an engaging and enriching day for all who join us, and it raises funds for a wonderful cause!

So, join us for A GAY DAY AT THE CIRCUS SPECTACULAR. You'll connect with friends old and new and see dazzling performers from around the globe, including high flying aerialists, acrobats, jugglers and more who will bring you thrills, laughter, awe and community at the historic Lachis Theater in downtown Brattleboro!
