'Culture Touch the Sky' at Incheon International Airport

This fall, visitors will be able to savor autumn sentiments through performances featuring the sweet and beautiful harmony of jazz and vocal music at Incheon International Airport.

Under the slogan "Culture Touch the Sky," Incheon Airport Terminal 1 holds new performances every month, offering visitors entertainment and enjoyment.

A variety of performances consisting of classy and beautiful vocal music, sweet and sentimental jazz, as well as spectacular show choir performances will be held this September while the cool autumn breeze takes away the heat of summer.

Classical crossover group The Dream Singers comprising of classical vocalists will present the beauty of traditional classical music and put up a heart-rendering opera-like performance with musical and popera elements based on traditional classic, opera and vocal music. Famous pieces from musicals well-known in Korea, such as "Jekyll & Hyde," "The Phantom of The Opera," and "West Side Story," as well as operas like "Rigoletto," "Don Giovanni" and "Il trovatore" will also be included in the lineup.

Jazz band Pandora' made up of top musicians, will present jazz performances that audience will find familiar and endearing, playing the popular favorites of pop songs, commercial ad music and even movie OST in standard jazz. They will perform sweet and sentimental standard jazz featuring the rich sounds of vocals, keyboards, contrabass, and percussion, etc.

There will also be new genre performances combining choir and show elements. Harmonize, the first Korean show choir group to win two gold medals at the World Choir Games, will entertain audience with new performances that integrate dancing and acting with choral singing. Centering on a variety of pop and jazz harmonies, these performances which include Korean traditional dances and street dance promise to be colorful and dynamic.

In addition, there will be planned performances such as popera and fusion Korean traditional music. Performances will take place 3 times a day at 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the Central Millennium Hall on the 1st floor of Incheon Airport Terminal 1.
