'Project Runway' Gets Rebooted with Karlie Kloss & Christian Siriano

"Project Runway" will turn to airwaves sometime in 2019 and though it will return to its original network, Bravo, the competition show is getting a major new look.

Last month it was announced host Heidi Klum and mentor Tim Gunn were leaving "Project Runway" to launch their own project with Amazon Studios. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the show has found its new host and new mentor for Season 17.

Model Karlie Kloss will take over Klum's hosting duties while "Project Runway" winner and fashion designer Christian Soriano will fill Gunn's fabulous shoes.

Elle editor-in-chief Nina Garcia, who has been with the show since 2004 and appeared on the the seasons when "Project Runway" moved to Lifetime, will return as a judge. She'll be offering her sharp critiques alongside new judges designer Brandon Maxwell and journalist/former Teen Vogue editor-in-chief Elaine Welteroth.

"As someone who grew up watching Project Runway, I could not be more excited to host and produce a series that provides a platform to aspiring American designers as they pursue their creative and entrepreneurial dreams," Kloss said in a statement to EW. "I am equally as thrilled to work alongside an incredibly talented group of fashion innovators – Brandon Maxwell, Elaine Welteroth, Nina Garcia, and Christian Siriano – to inspire, support and help guide these designers as they realize their visions and build everlasting brands and businesses."

Siriano added: "Project Runway has offered such wonderful opportunities for so many and I'm excited to take on this role as a mentor. I hope to guide and inspire the new talent on the rise."
