Gay, Jewish White Supremacist Stalks Anderson Cooper
The Silver Fox is being stalked, it was reported in the New York Post on Monday.
Anderson Cooper's stalker is a 40-year old gay, Jewish white supremacist from Queens named Alex Hausner who has been pursuing the CNN anchor since 2008.
And the "gaunt, scraggly-haired, 40-year-old Queens man who has the steely-eyed anchor stud fearing for his life," the Post reported.
Hausner - a Far Rockaway, Queens, psychiatric patient - was arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court on Monday.
"Hausner, who wore ripped jeans and a black T-shirt featuring the X-Men was ordered held in lieu of $75,000 bail on felony first-degree menacing, and misdemeanor harassment and stalking.
"’He was told on numerous occasions not to call’ Cooper, Assistant DA Rachel Ehrhardt said in court.
"On June 22, Hausner ’showed up at Anderson Cooper’s house, and he was told that he did not have permission to be at that location,’ the prosecutor said.
"Hausner has prior felony and misdemeanor convictions, she said.
Since 2008 Hausner has made unwelcome calls to Cooper. He also made four attempts to see Cooper. Last month he attempted to kick in the door of the newsman’s Village townhouse (formerly a fire station) that he shares with Benjamin Maisani, the owner of a East Village bar.
"I swear to f--king God, don’t insult me," a security camera caught Hausner shouting as he kicked, according to court papers. "I’m going to f--k you up!"
Hausner also told the Post as he waited arraignment that he "can prove from my sources that his boyfriend has sent people after me."
As for his political beliefs, the Post spoke to one of Hausner’s neighbors from the Queens’ SRO where he lived who said: "He was a radical - he believed in his [Jewish] religion, and he believed in the one race, the white race."
