BMW Collaborates with Independent Collectors on Art Collecting Guide

BMW has a long history supporting the Arts, everything from fine art in the company's HQ to its well-known Art Cars. In fact BMW's design centers create everything from clothes to bus benches, phones to glassware, and of course cars, trucks, buses, boats, and motorcycles.

Last year at Art Basel, BMW introduced its BMW Art Guide pocket-format reference book that provides information about art and art collecting in general. Now BMW, in conjunction with Independent Collectors, has created a website and blog that provides even more information than was available in the Guide with detailed reports on individual private collections, insights into art collecting, as well as interviews with well-known collectors and images from their collections.

This new site www.bmw-art-guide.com is a must see for art fans, collectors, artists, and anyone with an interest in art. For more info and a pic of one more art car, check out the press release and pic after the "read more" jump. Pics are fairly high-res, so click away. PS: the site is live...
