The Colosseum Theatre at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas may have been built to satisfy the opulent urges of the French-Canadian songstress Celine Dion and her long-running cirque spectacle, but when Elton John took over the stage in 2011 for his own residency in the luxurious space, it was proof that there truly was only room for one diva in Sin City’s prominent show palace! Beautifully captured live during his special engagement Elton John: The Million Dollar Piano is the perfect celebration of one of the greatest showmen in popular music.

Magnificently staged and richly designed, the set list for this incredible 2-hour epic covers Elton John’s greatest hits, especially from the recently re-issued and remastered "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," without neglecting some of his most popular and current showstoppers. He appropriately opens the concert with "The Bitch is Back," which gets the crowd off to a raucous start and has become Sir Elton’s cheeky signature anthem. That he is able to draw from a catalog of more than four decades of music to evolve a satisfying retrospective of his music is bound to leave some wishing for more.

Throughout the performance Sir Elton engages his audience and invites fans to participate in the evening, making for one of the most interactive performances of his infamous career. It’s impossible to sit still during his rendition of favorites including "Rocket Man," "Tiny Dancer," "I’m Still Standing" and more -- the next song is better than the last and beautifully leads to the hit single "Circle Of Life." The stage including the "million dollar piano" itself, continue to mesmerize as part of the multimedia backdrop with Elton and his band at the center of it all.

The Blu-ray package includes a bonus look at "the making" of the show, Sir Elton’s celebrated return to Caesar’s Palace for his most exciting live set yet! The Blu-ray also features extra performances "Live In Kiev" that have never been seen before. "Elton John: The Million Dollar Piano" is a treat even for even the most casual fan, and is without dispute one of the best live concerts ever on video!
