After a canceled tour and months in hibernation, Lady Gaga finally titillated her little monsters with some important details about her upcoming third studio album "ARTPOP."

The LP will drop November 11 and will be accompanied with an app, the singer wrote on her Facebook page.

The pop icon also revealed that the album's first unnamed single will be released on August 19, Pre-orders for "ARTPOP" will start September 1.

The album comes with an app (a la Bjork) and Gaga's Facebook statement says it is "a musical and visual engineering system that combines music, art, fashion and technology." She adds the user will "share in the 'adrenaline of fame' as they build and share their own projects, chat with one another, and watch in real-time on a virtual globe as ARTPOP explodes onto the physical and virtual universe at once."

The statement adds that "ARTPOP" "musically mirrors Gaga's creative process as she passes through the mediums of each artist she collaborates with, scoring a blueprint of her journey." The statement calls the record a "'rage' of electronic passion and fury, defining each artistic process from beginning to end" and that the album could mean anything to the listener, but for Mother Monster, it is a "celebration of obsession."

It's unclear if the image accompanying the statement is the cover art for the highly anticipated record.

Last year the "Bad Romance" singer announced plans for "ARTPOP" and said it would come out in early 2013, Billboard reports.

Hopefully the second half of the year turns out better than the past six months - Gaga had to nix her "Born This Way" tour due to a hip injury. After canceling the 22 shows, she refunded about 200,000 tickets that were worth approximately $25 million in gross ticket sales, Billboard reports. Since then, the songstress has kept a low profile; staying out of the press spotlight and only reserving Twitter and Facebook posts to laud the defeat of Section 3 of the Defense of Marriage Act and California's Proposition 8.

It wasn't until earlier this month that the "Judas" singer made her first public appearance since February, making a special appearance at New York City's Gay Pride. She sang the National Anthem, but changed the lyrics to "home of the gay," which unsurprisingly drew ire from the ultra-right.

The U.K. newspaper the Sun, reports that Gaga will return to the stage in September for the iTunes Festival in London.
