The Best of Keane

It's hard to believe, it's been over 10 years since we started rocking to the dulcet sounds of Keane. "The Best of Keane" features some of the best songs by the popular British rockers. They have managed to create their own sound that is a blend of Britpop like The Smiths and thoughtful ballads like Oasis. It's like a Champagne Supernova of music.

Keane's 'Best Of' album includes all the songs you'd expect. "Everybody's Changing," "Somewhere Only We Know," "Bend & Break" and "Crystal Ball." It also includes some recent songs like "Silenced By The Night." There are also two new tracks "Higher Than the Sun" and "Won't Be Broken."

Not only does it have the singles you’d expect but it has a pretty thorough set of songs from all their albums...

They honestly have created their own sound. They aren't as emo as Britpop and their lyrics aren't as haphazard and meaningless as some pop songs. Their music manages to feel meaningful and emotional while not being the kind of thing you'd play as you dance around in a velvet cape... not that there's anything wrong with that. It has a pensive emotionality without being depressing. Uplifting beats and tones blend with the deep vocals.

"The Best of Keane" has all of the songs you would want to hear from the hit band. Not only does it have the singles you'd expect, but it also has a pretty thorough set of songs from all their albums and two exclusive tracks. Fans of Keane will love this album, and it's also a great starter set for newcomers to the band. This is definitely a must-have album for anyone who has been touched by Keane in the last 10 years.
