2 Broke Girls - The Complete Second Season

"2 Broke Girls" is a deliciously offensive, pop culture-fueled, hipster-harassing sitcom that breathes new life into the classic multi-cam sitcom. The second season, available on DVD, brings success and new love to Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline (Beth Behrs). The DVD set is replete with special features that are honestly as entertaining and funny as the show.

The second season includes guest appearances by Steven Webber, Missi Pyle, Andy Dick and Piers Morgan. Sexy Ryan Hansen appears in several episodes as Caroline's love interest, Candy Andy.

"2 Broke Girls at PaleyFest 2013" is one of the most entertaining features. The cast and creator Michael Patrick King discuss the casting process and the development of their characters. It's also interesting to hear some of their natural speaking voices, since half of the cast uses fake accents. "2 Broke Girrllss! With Sophie Kachinsky" includes interview with the writers and Jennifer Coolidge about the zaniest character on the show with the most unique voice and best lines.

Sexy Ryan Hansen appears in several episodes as Caroline’s love interest, Candy Andy.

The gag reel is laugh out loud funny because the actors break in front of a live audience. The deleted scenes also feature more risqué jokes that were cut from the episodes. "Max's Homemade Cupcakes: Go Big or Go Broke!" includes interviews with the cast and King about the changes of Season 2 and the source of some of the storylines.

"2 Broke Girls" is feel good fun combined with a sharp-tongued honesty. The disparate duo of Max and Caroline represent the devil/angel in all of us combined with the broke experiences we've all had at some point. It's definitely a must-see.
