Spring Clean Up

This year for the first time we are partnering with The Eight Streets Neighborhood Association to co-sponsor our spring cleanup! We are really excited about this new partnership. On Saturday April 12th we will be cleaning the park from 9 to 12. Tools and gloves provided - please join us to get ready for spring and to visit with your neighbors! We will be pruning the rose bushes as well as raking leaves and picking up trash. Email with questions or comments.

New Summer Event! Volunteers needed!

The Friends of Ringgold Park is working with the Community Music Center of Boston on potentially including Ringgold Park as a site for a children’s concert as part of CMCB’s "Fete du Musique" on June 21. We are excited to offer a new type of programming in the park, after two consecutive summers of construction in the park. Please email if you would like to get involved in this fun family event.

Construction Update

We are still in dialogue with the Parks Department regarding some of the impacts in the park from the construction of the two new playground areas. The contractors who did the installation are responsible for cleaning up some construction debris in some of the shrub beds, as well as replacing some of the shrubs that died last summer when the irrigation was punctured during the construction. We will do our best to ensure that these repairs are completed by summer.

FORP is seeking new board members
