Rising from the dead just in time for the Halloween season, comes the childhood favorite "Hocus Pocus" on Blu-ray/DVD/Combo Pack.
Sarah Jessica Parker is back, in the role her nose was born to play, alongside Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy, as the Sanderson Sisters of Salem, Massachusetts. Three witches that were tried and hung until death.
In the 1600's the Sanderson Sisters cast a spell promising to come back from the dead and terrorize the town of Salem. One mysterious Halloween night in 1993, the Sanderson sisters come back from the dead to suck the life out of the children of Salem. A classic fish out of water tale, a teenage Virgin moves to Salem from Los Angeles and unknowingly conjures the three witches from beyond, setting them on a rampage of hellacious hilarity.
The only thing funnier than the bad 1990's costumes and overall caliber of acting, is the amount of supplemental features on the Blu-ray. The special features include nothing, not a single thing. Which raises the question, why bring back a movie as cinematically irrelevant as "Hocus Pocus" on Blu-ray/DVD/combo pack? Why? How about because we're all sick of watching "Halloween" on Blu-ray while drinking spiked-cider and carving pumpkins, okay?
So, if you're looking for the perfect Halloween party movie, drinking game, or babysitter, why not conjure up a copy of "Hocus Pocus" on Blu-ray, before it's too late!
