The Hangover Part III
In "The Hangover Part III," the guys from the Wolfpack stay sober: They attempt to step away from all the craziness and heal.
Alan (Zach Galifianakis) is lost in self-destructive behavior. In denial about the tragic death of his father, he refuses to take his medication, and he’s unable to place firm boundaries on his natural impulses.
Some of these impulses include killing a wild animal on the freeway and causing a massive car accident, masturbating on a city bus, and "lewd behavior" in a Cracker Barrel on Christmas Eve.
So his good friends, Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms) and Doug (Justin Bartha) come to the rescue, and they stage an intervention. They send him to fat camp in Arizona, because everything will be fine if he just loses weight and gets a woman.
Unfortunately, the gang will never make it to their destination, as a chain of fate was set into motion long ago. An international drug dealer Marshall (John Goodman) hunts the pack down and demands they pursue the pathological, disaster-magnet Leslie Chow (the brilliant and hilarious Ken Jeong).
Every time you have a hangover you think, "I’m never going to do this to myself again.
"I’m going to stop laughing at juvenile, racist and subtly homophobic jokes. I’m going to wait for Ken Jeong to have his breakthrough dramatic role as a courageous teacher who battles the system and saves the lives of inner city youths."
Just as the guys know that they’ll be fixing Alan’s messes for the rest of their lives, you know that you’re going to enjoy every shameful, shocking, hilarious moment of the ridiculous ride.
And even though this is the last film of a trilogy, as long as mankind secretly sabotages his success we’ll keep having "The Hangover"... and loving it.
