Video: Stringer Urges State Lawmakers to Pass Marriage Equality Bill

Speaking at the LGBT Community Center in lower Manhattan on Thursday, June 23, Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer once again urged state lawmakers to pass a marriage equality bill.

He spoke as President Barack Obama attended an LGBT fundraiser in Midtown with New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, Democratic National Committee Treasurer Andrew Tobias, David Mixner, actor Neil Patrick Harris and others.

The state Senate is scheduled to return to session at 10 a.m.
