Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode III

Kevin Taft READ TIME: 1 MIN.

The whacky action figures of Cartoon Network are back, mocking the world's best loved sci-fi franchise in "Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode III." Eschewing the tradition of 15 minute long episodes, this 44 minute special edition of the TV series features the usual quick snippet gags, but also features a more linear story as it tells the Star Wars tale through the eyes of Emperor Palpatine.

Stop-motion hilarity ensues as the Chicken team skewers the beloved films with spot on digs and knowing nods that only true Star Wars fans will truly understand. And that's the fun of these specials; seeing how many references you get and how many of them have gone through your mind at some point in your life.

With the all-star voice talents of Zac Efron (as Anakin), Anthony Daniels (as C-3PO), Billy Dee Williams (as Lando) and Ahmed Best (as Jar Jar Binks), they join regulars Seth Green, Breckin Meyer, Seth MacFarlane, and Zeb Wells to create probably the best-ever spoof of the franchise.

Special Features abound in this release including 25 minutes of deleted animatics, a boardroom discussion with the surprisingly funny and game George Lucas, a trip to Skywalker Ranch, the Star Wars Celebration V Robot Chicken Panel, Behind-the-Scenes featurettes and more!
