Baggy Buttigieg?
That is the nickname that designer Tom Ford could give Presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg (or Mayor Pete) after the candidate's team rejected his fashion advice.
The Cut reports that in an interview of the September issue of Vogue, Ford explained how he gave fashion tips to Buttigieg, whom he greatly admires.
"Ford met Mayor Pete at a lunch, and later texted Buttigieg's husband Chasten to offer him some advice. Namely, he thought the suits were a bit too baggy (as is tradition for a politician.) The candidate's camp didn't take the advice," The Cut writes.
Was Ford upset?
Not Really. "Obviously he can't wear my clothes," he told Vogue. "They're too expensive, they're wrong, they're not made in America. And besides, whatever he's doing is working. So does anyone need to fuck with it?"
