Florida Gay Adult Film Star, Proud Boy Sentenced for His Actions in Jan. 6 Insurrection

A Florida member of the Proud Boys and adult film star who took part in the Jan. 6 insurrection has received two years of jail time for his actions that day.
"The FBI arrested Steven Miles, 40, of Zephyrhills in April 2022 after he was caught on camera assaulting Capitol police officers with his fellow Proud Boys in an attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election," Tampa Bay news channel WFLA reported.
As previously reported, Miles entered a guilty plea at his trial on charges of "assaulting, resisting or impeding law enforcement officers during the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol," per the Miami Herald.
Describing the Proud Boys as "a neofascist white nationalist organization," WINK news detailed that Miles "traveled from his home near Tampa to Washington D.C., to contest the 2020 presidential election results."
EDGE previously detailed that Miles "has worked in adult male films since 2013, frequently with Lucas Entertainment."
Citing court documents, WINK News described Miles' alleged actions on Jan. 6, 2021, saying that the porn star â who was reportedly credited in his work as "Sgt. Miles" â "was pictured at the Capitol wearing a jacket with his last name on it and a t-shirt that read 'Trump 2020 Fâ Your Feelings.'"
Miles "played a leading role in escalating the riot," the U.S. Department of Justice website detailed. "As the group of Proud Boys including Miles marched to the Capitol, they chanted 'USA!,' 'Where's Antifa,' and 'Whose Capitol? Our Capitol!'"
WINK News detailed that "along with other protestors confronted U.S. Capitol Police officers in riot gear with an intention to escalated into a physical altercation," with WFLA noting, "Video showed the men in a confrontation with police, during which Miles shoved and threw punches at officers."
WINK News added that Miles "used a wooden plank to help smash a window of the Senate Wing Door, opening up a breach point for the rioters to invade the [Capitol] building."
After entering the Capitol Building himself, Miles and another defendant "'briefly' walked through the Capitol before encountering more police and exiting through the Senate Carriage Door," WFLA detailed.
The two-year sentence included a year of "supervised release" once Miles has served his time behind bars, as well as an order to pay $2,000 in "restitution," according to the U.S. Department of Justice website.
