"Red, White & Royal Blue" star Nicholas Galitzine is in another hot gay role alongside Julianne Moore in "Mary & George," and according to him it is by design.

In a TikTok interview with The Huffington Post UK, Galitzine went through how he has established his self in projects such as "Purple Hearts," "Bottoms," "The Craft: Legacy," and why he has been attracted to so many queer roles.

"My gay friends were like 'Wow, to have something cheesy and broad and wholesome is like really, really important', and I think the resonance of that means a lot to me," said Galitzine.

Discussing the queer roles he's played in general, Galitzine added, "I think with all of these characters the thing that I find really intriguing as an actor is that underbelly of vulnerability and having to hide oneself."

Galitizine identifies as straight in real life, and he is about to make hearts swoon alongside Anne Hathaway in "The Idea of You." But he has secured plenty of LGBTQ fans with his queer characters on screen.

"I have so many friends within the community, and I know so many of them didn't feel like they had these stories growing up," he said.
