Listen: A New Queer Anthem Arrives as Adam Lambert Unleashes His 'Wet Dream'

Out singer Adam Lambert is getting back to his solo career with a new album on the way and a dancefloor-ready single called "Wet Dream." The three-minute track shows how Lambert has "reinvented his sound," according to Just Jared.

"It's been a while since the 42-year-old 'Whataya Want From Me' crooner has unleashed original material," Just Jared recounted, "as he's been focusing on covers and touring with Queen."

But now he's back with a vengeance. "Wet Dream" has a hard-driving beat and a glossy sound that will be right at home in gay clubs – as will the lyrics.

"I can't sleep 'til we're down in deep / All I need is your body heat... I dive into your love like a wet dream," Just Jared quotes from the song, which rollicks all the way to a triumphant line in which Lambert sings: "Now you know how a homo takes it home!"

Just Jared noted that the track "was produced by Zhone and written with Sarah Hudson, Ferras and JHart."

"Wet Dream is a sneak peak of what I've been working on in the studio," Lambert posted on social media, strongly hinting that more original music will be coming soon.

The singer added that he "couldn't keep it in my pants any longer."
