Ke$ha Comes Out as Bisexual

It may not come to a huge shock to some but pop star Ke$ha revealed to Seventeen magazine that she is bisexual.

"I don't love just men. I love people," she said. "It's not about a gender. It's just about the spirit that exudes from that other person you're with."

The "Die Young" singer has been upfront about sexuality in interviews and with her music. According to the Daily Mail, she told Out Magazine three years ago that she didn't like "labeling" people gay or straight. Still, Ke$ha can be seen scandalously dancing with both men and women while wearing S&M type clothing in the music video for "Die Young," her latest smash single.

The 25-year-old diva, born Kesha Rose Sebert, has been a strong supporter of LGBT rights and the successful 2010 "We R Who We R" single is dedicated to gay teens.

"I wanted to inspire people," Ke$ha said. "It's a celebration of any sort of quirks or eccentricities."

When the singer dropped her 2012 album, "Warrior," she told the British newspaper the Sun that the record would yet again connect with LGBT audiences.

"I have a lot of gay and lesbian fans and they said how my music had helped them deal with bullying, so I wanted to write a record that's about love and acceptance," Ke$ha said.

More recently, the "Tik Tok" songstress told Gaydar Radio that she wishes she were a gay man.

"There's just an energy to a gay man -- it's not really comparable to any other people," she said. "You guys just exude just this happiness." When asked if she wants to be a gay man, she yelled, "Yes, I do!" The singer went on to say that gay men are "just gorgeous. And their love of life is amazing. They're just, really magical people."

But we may have to invent a new word to describe Ke$ha's sexual orientation. The singer revealed in September that her song "Supernatural," off "Warrior," is about her "erotic experiences" with a ghost, Fox News points out.

"It's about experiences with the supernatural... but in a sexy way," she told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. "I had a couple of experiences with the supernatural. I don't know his name! He was a ghost! I'm very open to it."

Ke$ha isn't the only pop titan to come out as bisexual. Longtime LGBT rights supporter Lady Gaga said she is attracted to both men and women as well and the chart-topping hit "Pokerface" is about her orientation.
