Coding Camps for Queer Youth
Atlanta Pride Committee, Inc.
In response to COVID-19, this summer Maven Youth will transition their in-person camps to a virtual experience. Bringing their amazing workshops and tech partnerships to a virtual platform will ensure LGBT+ youth have the opportunity to build community and are provided a safe space to dream and explore careers in the tech sector.
This summer they partnered with Black Pink & HMI to provide free 2 week summer camps for youth 14-19yrs of age. They provide laptops and paid stipends for all under-resourced youth in our program*.
Youth will learn:
Video Game Production
Digital Art
Game Story Writing
App UX Design
Requirements:
14-19yrs of age
attend M-F 5hrs each day
*Youth must attend all days of camp to qualify for a free laptop
Two Sessions Available: June 20 - July 1 | July 18 - 29
