Gay Porn Star Colby Keller Shares Heartbreaking Coming Out Story on Podcast

Monday Jan 9, 2017

Gay porn star Colby Keller recently stopped by "The Love Bomb" podcast, created and hosted by "Younger" actor Nico Tortorella.

As Gay Star News reports, Keller and Tortorella talked about a number of topics and things got real when Keller, who appeared on the HBO show "High Maintenance" last year. But the conversation got real when Keller opened up about how his family learned he's gay.

Keller, the youngest of four children, kept a box of gay porn magazines and videos under his bathroom sink. His mother discovered the stash one day when he was just 15.

After realizing the box was gone, his parents told him they needed to have a talk, GSN writes.

"It was a real revelation," Keller said. "My father ... he was really supportive. He was crying. He was doing everything he could in the language that he possessed to try and comfort me and make it okay for me."

Keller's mother, however, didn't take the news so well.

"This great, upstanding Christian woman, she's angry. She's trying to read the Bible which I'm like, 'No, we're not going to do this,'" he told Tortorella, who revealed he's sexually fluid last year.

"She tells me, 'I wish I had a gun so I could kill you and then blow my own brains out all over this sofa,'" Keller revealed, adding that his relationship with his mother changed after that.

"I love my mother and she really is a beautiful human being," Keller said. "But I stopped calling her 'mother' after that. To this day I really don't call her mother because of that incident."

Tortorella struggles to speak after that, according to GSN, but finally says, "Whew! This is the part where we cry."
