As if the ongoing anti-gay propaganda law in Russia wasn't enough of a buzzkillski, comrades in the land of the nofunsniks shot down a sexy, twerky, BDSM-inspired video that was reportedly made by a group of aviation cadets in a burst of youthful high spirits.

The bawdy post, which went live at YouTube on Jan. 15, appeared to be a homoerotic parody on the heterosexually suggestive music video for DJ Benny Benassi's 2002 song "Satisfaction," and reportedly was the work of cadets at the Ulyanovsk Institute of Civil Aviation. The video was posted by Aleks Jigurdinski, but the weight of the big fat Nyet that ensued came down on the whole group. News sources said an "investigation" of the clip is underway.

"I have worked here for 20 years and this is the first time in my life I have seen such an offense," the Russian government's international news outlet RT News quoted UIGA Campus Administration Department head Petr Timofeev as saying. "What a shame! We invest so much into people, and this is how they behave."

The young men in the two-minute-long NSFW clip strut around in tight briefs, neckties, and military style hats. A couple of the fellows wear harnesses, while another sports suspenders. The youths wield phallic props such as bananas and a hammer before the clip ends in a veritable sea of flesh as a laundry area is transformed into an ad hoc dance floor.

RT reported the video had its wings clipped by YouTube "for violating terms of use," but as of midday on Jan. 17 it was still easily accessible.

Russia's anti-gay law forbids any sort of homosexual "propaganda," such as gay and lesbian couples holding hands in public or even making a pronouncement about being gay. Since the law came into effect in 2013 young Russian men have reportedly harassed and attacked gay victims, sometimes luring them into violent ambush situations through the use of hookup apps.

More recently, an even more vicious anti-LGBTQ campaign in Chechnya that reportedly involves torture, interrogation, and detention has sparked an international outcry.
