On Friday, September 22, a new monthly party DJ Jane kicks off at The Exile at the D.C. Eagle featuring DJ Rosie on the turntables. All proceeds from the party will benefit the Capital Pride Alliance.

DC Jane is the new monthly part for women in the D.C. area and will be held from 9 p.m.-3:30 a.m. on the fourth Friday of each month. For this inaugural event, the D.C. Eagle will offer an open bar from 9-10:30 pm.

Tickets are $30 and 100 percent of proceeds go to Capital Pride.

The Capital Pride Alliance, located in Washington, DC, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the needs of the LGBTA community and its partners through educational events, entertainment, community outreach, and celebrations of diversity throughout the year. Each June, Capital Pride produces the annual Celebration of Pride in the Nation's Capital, one of the largest Pride celebrations in the country, which includes the Pride Parade, Festival, and Concert.

The Capital Pride Alliance, through its multi-faceted programming and stewardship of LGBTA organizations and events, specifically year-round Pride festivities centered in Washington, DC and the National Capital Region, serves to celebrate, educate, support, and inspire our diverse communities in order to grow and protect our legacy, history, and rights for future generations.

DJ Jane will be held on Friday, Sept 22 at The Exile at the D.C. Eagle, 3701 Benning Rd. NE, Washington, D.C., 20019.
