With no other choice but to reveal her identity, Nora is thrilled to finally get the opportunity to share in some of her superhero dad's adventures, and quickly learns that there's a dangerous villain named Cicada (Chris Klein) who is determined to rid Central City of all meta-humans, starting with The Flash and his friends.
Unbeknown to Barry and his allies, a sinister agent is working from the shadows that may have a fast grip on Nora. Who is this adversary, and why is he so invested in destroying the legacy of The Flash?
