Digital Spy reports that at a recent press conference with cast members of the upcoming "Suicide Squad" sequel, a certain topic became the most popular among the co-stars: John Cena's bulge.

Cena was literally the butt of much ribbing by his fellow castmates Idris Elba, Pete Davidson, Michael Rook, Joel Kinnaman, director James Gunn, and producers Peter Safran and Charles Roven.

"After a question about the rivalry between Idris Elba's Bloodsport and John Cena's Peacemaker, Elba asked whether they wanted to talk about a scene in the movie where Cena is in 'tighty-whities,'" Digital Spy recounts.

"I saw a screening of the movie, you have a huge piece, dude," quipped Davidson, who plays Blackguard, as Rooker, who plays Savant, chimed in: "You guys are all wrong. That wasn't even a penis — that was a log."

"Cena joked that what had actually happened was Gunn [was] using a 'filter of some sort' and it appeared that was the end of it," the outlet notes.

But Kinnaman wasn't having it when he said how improvisation helped bring the cast together, joking instead that it was "John's bulge" that "really brought us all together." The actor went on to crack that Cena's white pants were "the most ridiculous part of your costume."

But Davidson pointed out that Cena's crotch has already made some unexpected fans. "All my uncles ... [who] love wrestling were like, 'I didn't know Cena was packing like that, bro,'" the comedian quipped. "All my middle-aged Italian uncles are obsessed with your bulge."

This wasn't the first time Cena's package has garnered attention from the press. When he appeared on Andy Cohen's "Watch What Happens Live" in 2019, Cena confessed to having had a boner during one of his WWE matches.

"It's something the body does, you just ignore it. Just ignore it," Cena explained at the time. "It's what the body does. You can't be blamed for that."

The Sun reported that it was during a match with The Deadman in 2018 that the boner incident transpired, which led fans to speculate on social media at the time: "Why was John Cena having a b***r.. LMAO."

Another fan quipped, "It looks like he's doing a little more than just defeating him, LOL. Wrestling really?"
