When it comes to holiday parties and gatherings, it all boils down to two main things for us: the booze and the music. No matter how great the company is, bad music, in particular, can kill the mood faster than just about anything, which is why EDGE has got you covered this year.

If you're looking to make your yuletide a little gayer this year, go ahead and don your gay apparel and enjoy EDGE's Big Gay Holiday playlist!

"All I Want For Christmas Is You," Mariah Carey

"Santa Tell Me," Ariana Grande

We give major props to any contemporary artist who can write a holiday bop strong enough to become a classic, and Ari did just that with "Santa Tell Me."

"Underneath The Tree," Kelly Clarkson

Speaking of contemporary bops, Kelly Clarkson always seems to understand the assignment. Both of her holiday albums are terrific, but this joyous single is becoming a classic in its own right.

"Step into Christmas," Elton John

What's gayer than Elton John? Elton John at Christmas, apparently.

"Oh Santa!," Mariah Carey feat. Ariana Grande & Jennifer Hudson

The queen of Christmas did it again with this one, and the addition of Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson make this one undeniably gay.

"Silent Night," Stevie Nicks

It's true that "Silent Night" isn't exactly a party jam, but anything's a party when sung by Stevie, right?

"Cozy Little Christmas," Katy Perry

Katy Perry has never really received the credit she deserves for her songwriting, but writing catchy pop songs is very difficult, and she hit the nail on the head with this fun earworm. Good luck getting the chorus out of your head.

"Winter Wonderland," Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga

Classy, jazzy, and oh so gay, Tony and Gaga perfect this holiday staple.

"Last Christmas," Wham!

This one is a given, and damn is it good. Is it the gayest Christmas song ever? It just might be.

"My Only Wish (This Year)," Britney Spears

The newly liberated, newly engaged princess of pop certainly got her wishes granted this year. Simply put, this song is phenomenal, and Britney even co-write it herself.

"Santa Baby," Madonna

With apologies to Eartha Kitt, Madonna's version is just better. There, we said it.

"Glittery," Kacey Musgraves feat. Troye Sivan

This standout from The Kacey Musgraves Christmas Show pairs the Country music wavemaker with one of pop music's best up and coming gay stars. The result? Magic.

"Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)," Rosie O'Donnell & Cher

Okay, I think we spoke too soon when we called "Last Christmas" the gayest Christmas song ever. THIS is the actual gayest Christmas song ever, and we've had it on repeat all month.

"Hey Sis, It's Christmas," RuPaul

Why shouldn't RuPaul add Christmas Icon to her ever growing list of achievements? This one is pure fun.

"It Doesn't Often Snow at Christmas," Pet Shop Boys

This song doesn't get the play it deserves, and we're setting out to change that. Justice for Pet Shop Boys.

"White Christmas," Lady Gaga

Performed on her 2011 holiday special, Gaga brings impeccable vocals to this classy take on a Christmas standard.

"Do You Hear What I Hear?," Whitney Houston

Over the top in all the right ways, Whitney is start-to-finish perfection here.

"Only You," Kylie Minogue & James Corden

We know, we know: James Corden? Really? But "Only You" makes the cut because of Kylie, whose take on the Yaz classic is stunning.

"Jingle Bells," Barbra Streisand

Barbra is almost manic in this song, which makes it a great conversation starter at a party. But in all seriousness, "Jingle Bells" is always kind of a boring song, but Babs tries to change that. She mostly succeeds.

"Hard Candy Christmas," Dolly Parton

Written for "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas," Dolly's version is effortlessly heartfelt and sweet. And who wouldn't want a song written for prostitutes to be played at a Christmas party?

"Merry Christmas, Baby," Christina Aguilera feat. Dr. John

This sultry, surprising take on this beloved holiday song is a brilliant showcase for Christina's insane vocals.

"What Are You Doing New Year's Eve," Rufus Wainwright

There are so many great versions of this song: Kacey Musgraves, Gwen Stefani, Barbra Streisand, Nancy Wilson, Barry Manilow...but the gayest just might be Rufus, who sounds about as perfect as he ever has on this sweet, romantic classic.

"We Need A Little Christmas," Angela Lansbury

If you wanted to make a statement — or just start some conversations — you could include Lucille Ball's infamous version. But the original is the best, and Lansbury's warmth exudes holiday cheer.

"Seasons Of Love," Idina Menzel

The classic from "Rent" as a Christmas song? Sure, why not. Regardless of how you feel about that, Menzel makes a good case for it here. And at least it's not "Let It Go."

"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," Judy Garland

Is this really a party song? Probably not. But Garland's evergreen vocals here are heaven-sent, and it's a great way to wind down a party.
