Recording artist superstar and LGBTQ+ ally Adele made a surprise appearance at G-A-Y nightclub's "Porn Idol'' event in London, and she named the winner alongside "Drag Race UK'' star Cheryl Hole, NME reported.

Adele's appearance was a surprise even to Jeremy Joseph, the owner of G-A-Y, UK newspaper the Daily Mail reported.

The venue hosts the stripping competition weekly. Adele made herself at home at the event's Feb. 10 edition, and "hung out with the night's performing drag queens, and even came on stage to judge the competition — before pole dancing herself," the Mail said.

"It wasn't advertised; it wasn't planned, which makes it more special," Joseph told the newspaper. "She just turned up. There were no requests, no demands, there was nothing like that."

The superstar drew plenty of attention as she danced among the crowd, before taking to the stage, where "Drag Race UK" star Cheryl Hole made the invitation for Adele to choose the winner from that night's crop of contestants.

Adele "chose Martha as her winner in support of 'f***ing females' after calling out the BRIT Awards earlier this week for changing the Best Male and Female categories to be gender neutral," the Mail noted.

As previously reported at EDGE, Adele herself took three honors, including Artist of the Year, as well as Song of the Year for "Easy on Me," and Mastercard Album of the Year for her latest release, "30."

"She's sexy, fucking beautiful, fucking lovely," Adele said of her hand-picked winner, Martha, before addressing the contestant directly: "We love being females, don't we?"

Adele and Cheryl Hole engaged in some banter, during which, NME detailed, the drag performer pitched an idea: "Next time you do a special, can I sing a song instead of Alan Carr please?"

Adele responded, with "One hundred percent," before saying that Cheryl Hole was "invited to Vegas" — a reference to the residency that Adele postponed a day before it was planned to start.

Later, Adele herself briefly took to the club's stripper pole, to the delight of the audience.

The scene was pandemonium, Joseph said. "There were people crying their eyes out saying, 'Oh my God I've just seen Adele!'" the club owner recounted.

"She had friends with her, it was a big group, and it was like let's go and have some fun," Joseph added. "She didn't want to go out and be pretentious; she just wanted to have fun. It is really surreal."
