Former U.S. Rep. Aaron Schock has been out of the spotlight for some time now. In case you forgot, he resigned from Congress in March 2015 due to a scandal involving the politician's use of public and campaign funds. A congressional ethics investigation found the Republican used the money to "fund lavish trips" and to redecorate his office in the style of "Downton Abbey."

According to an October 2018 report from The Chicago Tribune, he will "stand trial June 10 in a Chicago federal courthouse after a series of shake-ups brought his corruption case to Chicago from Urbana."

Since then, Schock has been absent from social media. His last tweet is from October 2016. He only posted to Instagram twice in 2018...but it looks like that's going to change.

On Jan. 5 he shared a shirtless photo of himself in the water, captioning the pic, "Wet or not, here I come 2019."

Then on Jan. 23, Schock shared a number of videos to his Instagram stories where he saw Sir. Elton John in concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. He also spotted Sam Smith in the crowd and later posted a photo of himself with the out U.K. pop star.
