With a petition up asking Netflix to cancel its upcoming series chronicling Colton Underwood's experiences as an out man, the ex-Bachelor was seen at a Denver club over the weekend with Gus Kenworthy, the out Olympian and social media personality.

"On Sunday, the former 'Bachelor' contestant hit the town with his new friend Gus Kenworthy. The two were spotted partying it up at a popular gay club in Colorado named Charlie's," writes Radar. "The reality star was immediately recognized by the other clubgoers who snapped a bunch of photos of Underwood inside the club."

In the photos, Radar writes, "Underwood, who had a drink in front of him the entire time, seemed nervous while texting on the phone all night. One fan shot a video of Underwood watching the club action from a VIP section with Kenworthy."

While he wasn't filming his Netflix series, the pair were said to have stayed on for the drag show, "The Deluxxe Edition," hosted by Trixxie Deluxxe. The queen performs a weekly show on Sunday nights at the club. The venue touts, "There's always a party right here at Charlie's,'" Radar adds.

Neither Kenworthy nor Underwood posted pics of their night out to social media.

The club, TMZ adds, is "a pretty happening place complete with a dance floor, private booths and bumpin' music."

But, TMZ also adds, while all "that was in full flex while Colton was there ... based on these pics and video we got of him there, dude was more interested in his phone, at least for part of the night."

"Shortly after coming out as gay (and we literally mean just a few hours later)," the website Pride reports, Variety was reporting that Underwood was already set to film his very own reality show for popular streaming platform Netflix, described as "an unscripted series with multiple episodes, focusing on Colton living his life publicly as a gay man," with Kenworthy appearing in the show, "acting as a guide, of sorts, for Underwood."

EMN reported that "the response (to Underwood's coming out) has been largely positive, but there are critics who complain that he was disingenuous to the female contestants on the show, behaved erratically in his relationship with his Cassie Randolph, his girlfriend he met on the show, and is monetizing his coming out experience."
