Ezra Miller Argues with Police in Newly Released Footage
Ezra Miller's legal woes continue to grab the spotlight.
As reported by People, a new video from Miller's arrest in Hawaii, March 2022, has been made public via TMZ and the footage sheds more light on Miller's troubling behavior.
In the video, Miller can be seen getting aggressive with his arresting officers in Hawaii. To the officers, Miller says: "I got assaulted and I started filming. Let me show you the video. I got assaulted in this bar, twice in a row. I film myself when I get assaulted for NFT crypto art,"
Miller starts questioning the officers, working his way up to screaming at them.
"What's your name? What's your badge number? Tell me your name and your badge number. Full name! Full badge number!" Miller starts screaming repeatedly. "Don't touch me. Tell me your name and your badge number, now!"
When Miller is placed in handcuffs, the actor begins to question why they are being arrested.
"I'm being arrested for disorderly conduct?" Miller asks. "I was assaulted. You understand that, right?"
Miller continued, alleging, "The guy at that bar declared himself as a Nazi." The actor added, "I have it on film, and he attacked me."
Then the "Flash" star attempts to turn the tables on the officers, saying "I claim my 9th amendment rights to not be unlawfully persecuted for a crime of no designation. Disorderly conduct means something I am un-guilty of.
"I claim my 4th amendment rights to not be searched and seized on no probably cause, that you will not be able to offer in a court of law. I claim my 4th Amendment rights to not be searched and seized," they said.
Miller pleaded no contest to the disorderly-conduct charge from the incident in April via a Zoom call. The judge then sentenced the star to pay a $500 fine.
The video is the latest chapter in Miller's documented destructive behavior, which has sent their future as a Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero into question.
