Previewing her appearance later this month at Bette Midler's annual fundraiser Hocus Halloween, Glenn Close gave her Instagram followers a sneak peak of her costume this year: Cruella de Vil, Cinema Blend reports. Not just one picture, but two. And what's more: Close's costume was made up almost entirely of objects found at home:

Close starred as Cruella de Vil in the 1996 Disney live-action version of "101 Dalmatians." The John Hughes-scripted film was such a hit that Close was nominated for a Golden Globe in the Best Actress in a Motion Picture of Musical Comedy category. Disney also ordered a sequel, "102 Dalmatians," which hit theaters four years later, in 2000.

In 2016, Midler pulled off a similar tease by dressing up as her Winifred Sanderson character from the 1993 hit film "Hocus Pocus":

One can only imagine how this year's virtual Hocus Halloween might turn out if, in addition to Close, Midler and her "Hocus Pocus" co-stars Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker don their iconic costumes. Even if they don't, it's pretty clear at this point: Glenn Close has won Halloween 2020.
