Pour out a cosmo or an appletini, "Sex in the City" fans.

The long-awaited "Sex and the City 3" movie is not moving forward, according to star Sarah Jessica Parker.

In an interview with Extra, the actress confirmed reports that a third film had stalled.

"It's over," she said. "We're not doing it."

"We had this beautiful, funny, heartbreaking, joyful, very relatable script and story," Parker added. "It's not just disappointing that we don't get to tell the story and have that experience, but more so for that audience that has been so vocal in wanting another movie."

Parker's comments came not long after a report from The Daily Mail, which claims the third film was allegedly halted due to "SATC" star Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha on the series. The tabloid claims the actress made "outrageous" demands, just weeks before the movie was set to start filming.

"Sex and the City 2" hit theaters in 2010. The HBO series wrapped in 2004.
