Watch: Madonna Says She has Antibodies, Plans to Go Outside & 'Breathe in COVID-19 Air'

Friday May 1, 2020

Madonna shared a video to Instagram this week to tell her 15 million followers that she has "antibodies," presumably to the new coronavirus, and that she plans to go for a car ride where she will "breathe in the COVID-19 air."

In what is her 14th entry into her "Quarantine Diaries," the pop star shared a black-and-white video in which she is typing on a typewriter and talking in voice-over.

After waxing poetic for about a minute (where she says she wants "to be released from the bondage of giving a fuck" as jazz music plays), Madonna, reading off a piece of paper that she apparently typed up on a typewriter, then says:

"Took a test the other day. I found out that I have the antibodies. So tomorrow, I'm just going to go for a long drive in a car and I'm going roll down the window, and I'm going to breathe in...I'm going to breathe in the COVID-19 air. Yup."

Madonna goes on to talk about the "power of words" and wonders if people are ready to hear what she has to say.

At the end of the clip, the "Hung Up" singer adds: "Here's the good news: Tomorrow is another day and I'm going to wake up and I'm going to feel differently. Start all over again."

This isn't the first strange video Madonna has posted since being in quarantine. Click here and here to check out some of her previous clips and watch her newest entry below.
