PopUps: Netflix Renews 'OITNB' for Season 4

The third season of Netflix's critically acclaimed "Orange is the New Black" doesn't air until June 12, but the popular streaming service already announced Wednesday that it has renewed the dramedy for Season 4 which will run in 2016.

As the New York Post reports, Netflix also released a new teaser for "OITNB" Season 3 that is very Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" (Uzo Aduba) heavy. The upcoming season will also center around Piper's (Taylor Schilling) lover, Alex (Laura Prepon) returning to the upstate New York prison, Litchfield Correctional Institution. There will also be a new inmate named Stella (Ruby Rose) in the mix.

Other "OITNB" regulars are set to return, including Red (Kate Mulgrew), Taystee (Danielle Brooks), Nicky (Natasha Lyonne), Pennsatucky (Taryn Manning), Gloria (Selenis Leyva), "Black Cindy" (Adrienne C. Moore), Poussey (Samira Wiley)Daya (Dascha Polanco), Sam Healy (Michael J. Harney), Joe Caputo (Nick Sandow) and Lorna Morello (Yael Stone).

Laverne Cox, who plays Sophia, will also be in Season 3 as a recurring cast member, as well as Big Boo, played by Lea DeLaria.

Season 3 will be the first season without Jason Biggs, who plays Larry Bloom - Piper's fiancť.
