Who or what are many people likely to dress up as for Halloween 2020? According to The Daily Mail, the "Karen" is looking to be this year's most popular costume.

With more common usage in recent discourse, "Karen" is often used to refer to non-descript, entitled white women who are likely demanding and/or racist — the most prominent example being Amy Cooper, the dog walking "Karen" according to the New York Post, who called NYC police on Christian Cooper, a Black bird-watcher in Central Park, after he asked her to leash her dog so as not to frighten the birds. As the Daily Mail notes, there have been many videos of "Karens" in similar scenarios to go viral in recent years.

Jason Adcock, a Los Angeles-based artist, has created a "Karen" mask currently priced at $180, with a product description on the Etsy page: "The scariest thing you can be on Halloween!!!! Full head latex mask with hair. Sculpted, molded, cast, and painted." The mask's face is molded in an expression of rage, with blotched skin and yellow teeth. Adcock recently told Vice:

"I was quarantining at home and wanted to make a new mask. I just started sculpting, and out came Karen. I've spent most of my life working retail in the cosmetics industry, so I have seen countless Karens in their natural habitat."

The "Karen" Halloween mask can be found here.
