YouTube Extras: Jake as Effie, and a Musical ’Scrubs’

Is NBC going totally gay?

Not only did they broadcast the Golden Globes on Monday, but this past Saturday night Jake Gyllenhaal poked fun at his Brokeback image with a hilarious rendition of "I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" (in drag no less.) Follow this link to view it.

And on Thursday night Scrubs presents an original half-hour musical. In the show guest star Stephanie D'Abruzzo, who starred in "Avenue Q" on Broadway, plays a woman hospitalized at Sacred Heart after she hears everyone she encounters singing.

Ten songs are crammed into the 22-minute episode, including an elaborate, gurney twirling "Welcome to Sacred Heart," "Everything Comes Down to Poo" and "Guy Love," both already playing on

The songs also have an Avenue Q connection: that show's composers Robert Lopez aned Jeff Marx, along with Jan Stevens, wrote the music; while the two joined talent with Paul Parry and series writer Debra Fordham on the lyrics.
