Picture this: You're a virulent homophobe surfing the Internet, looking for some Bible verses to misspell on the protest sign you plan to use to picket gay rights. You type in the URL of your favorite anti-gay website only to find that you've been re-directed to a hardcore gay porn site catering to skinhead fetishists.

The owners of the anti-gay website found themselves unwittingly promoting some really nasty gay porn when their web domain expired and someone snatched it up and redirected people to - a NSFW website featuring "Raw, Breeding, Bareback, Hardcore XXX Videos."

The redirect was the work of an anonymous prankster who took credit for the joke on Reddit .

"They condemned gays and rock music outside Carolina Rebellion," he wrote. "I bought the (unexpectedly expired) domain from their signs and pointed it at gay porn of people who probably like rock music. Fair?"

Carolina Rebellion is a hard rock and heavy metal music festival that takes place annual in North Carolina.

The Reddit user's prank isn't the first time an Internet address has been used against anti-gay organizations or public figures. In January it was reported a gay couple bought the domain and have been cybersquatting the URL to raise awareness about LGBT issues.
