Listen: Rush Limbaugh is Still Talking About Pete Buttigieg

Wednesday March 4, 2020

Rush Limbaugh caught flack last month over remarks he made about Pete Buttigieg while he was campaigning for the White House and it seems the conservative radio host is still fixated on the former South Bend, Ind. mayor kissing his husband in public.

Media Matters reports that Limbaugh yet again took issue with Buttigieg kissing his partner, Chasten Buttigieg. The website isolated a 44-second clip in which the radio host talks about the politician, who dropped out of the 2020 presidential race on Sunday.

"So, you know what happened in there in this meeting, in this phone call. They got Mayor Pete in there, and they told him, man, your future is bright," Limbaugh said. "Look at what you -- you laid down out there that you're gay. You've got your husband, you're getting -- kissing him on the stage. You get away with it. Everything's fine. You're young. It's not your time."

This isn't the first time Limbaugh, a staunch supporter of President Donald Trump, voiced his opinion about the married men locking lips. In February, when Buttigieg has finished in the top two in Democrats' first two presidential contests in Iowa and New Hampshire, Limbaugh made some comments on his syndicated radio show that went on to make headlines at the time.

"They're saying, 'OK, how's this going to look?'" he said, imagining Democrats' thinking. "Thirty-seven-year-old gay guy kissing his husband on stage, next to Mr. Man, Donald Trump.'"

Buttigieg initially didn't address the comments but later spoke out against Limbaugh at rallies and even on "The Ellen Show."
