The Caitlyn Jenner Foundation and trans activist Jazzmun Crayton will be honored at the second annual TransNation Festival's official closing gala, "Eleganza." The evening will honor the trans community through music, fashion, and entertainment on Saturday, October 21 at the Cicada Club (617 S. Olive Street) in downtown Los Angeles.

"Eleganza" will honor trailblazers in the trans community, including the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation, which will receive the "Sustaining Vanguard Award." Caitlyn Jenner will be in attendance to accept the award on behalf of her foundation, which has generously supported St. John's Transgender Health Program, allowing it to expand its primary care, dental services, behavioral health, and programming to thousands of transgender patients across Los Angeles.

Jazzmun Crayton, an actor and advocate for the trans community for more than 30 years will be the recipient of the "Marsha P. Johnson Trailblazer Award."

Performers at the event include the evening's emcees, Candis Cayne and Laith Ashley, DJ JD Samson, along with Peppermint, Shea Diamond, and Gia Banks.

"Eleganza" is the culminating event of the TransNation Festival, a week-long celebration of the trans community. The festival will begin on October 13 with a film festival that runs through October 15 at the historic Silent Movie Theatre in West Hollywood.

The festival is also pleased to announce its Circle of Friends host committee, which includes advocates and allies who have pledged their support for the festival and the work of St. John's including Sia, Alyssa Milano, Alan Cumming, Kelly Osbourne, Justin Vivian Bond, Tiq Milan, Eddie Martinez, Ana Ortiz, Judy Reyes, and Laura Jane Grace.

Jim Mangia, CEO of St. John's stated: "Our TransNation Eleganza event is a celebration of trans lives; a celebration of transformation, unity, and the love of diversity. In that spirit of diversity, we are honored to be giving awards to Jazzmun Crayton and the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation. Jazzmun was one of the first openly trans actors in film and television; she's worked tirelessly with the Transgender Advisory Council, the Inspire Spiritual Community Board, and is one of the founders of Midnight Stroll. The Caitlyn Jenner Foundation has stepped up to support our burgeoning transgender health project - which now provides comprehensive healthcare services to nearly 2,000 trans patients. At St. John's, we believe in service and advocacy. We have never shied away from political controversy or doing what we thought was right for the populations we serve. And we believe that when people of differing views can come together for a dialogue, we can make true progress together. It is in that spirit that we celebrate trans power and love."

"Eleganza" will begin with a VIP red carpet 7:00 to 8:00 pm, followed by performances, a brief awards ceremony, music, and dancing from 8:00 pm to 1:00 am. Tickets are now available at
