Watch: Cadbury Celebrates Creme Eggs With LGBTQ Inclusive New Ad

Cadbury has released a fun — and LGBTQ-inclusive — advertisement for their Crème Eggs, The Independent reports.

Celebrating five decades with "It's the Crème Egg Golden Goobilee!," the nearly one-minute, over-the-top ad highlights different types of people: "lickers" who scoop the goopy filling out of the chocolate shell with their tongues; "bakers" using the eggs for other cooking endeavors; those connoisseurs known as "eggsperts"; "dippers" with a row of egg dishes to behold; and "discrEATers" who enjoy the eggs in private.

The ad then spotlights "sharers" with a gay couple holding hands, spinning in a circle on a rooftop. One has the egg between his lips while the other leans in to take a bite. The narrator says, "sharers? Yeah, we are down with that!"

As the Independent notes, LGBTQ-inclusive ads have emerged in different campaigns around the world in recent years. A Doritos Mexico ad featured a father accepting his gay son's new relationship and embracing him and his boyfriend, while the focus of an ad by British company Argos featured a same-sex Black couple having a family dinner — the latter of which was defended by the company after receiving homophobic and racist responses from the public.
