Kid Rock doubled down on using the offensive homophobic term "f*g" after he was criticized for saying it at a concert last weekend. Rock received strong criticism after he insulted an audience member using a cellphone to record his appearance at Fishlipz Resort and Grill at Pate's Ford Marina in Smithville, Tennessee.

"F*** your phone! Yeah! Post this! You can post this! You can post this s*** right now! You f***ing f****ts with your phones!" Rock yells in the video before it cuts out.

Taking to Twitter, Rock wrote: "If Kid Rock using the word f***** offends you, good chance you are one. Either way, I know he has a lot of love for his gay friends and I will have a talk with him. Have a nice day."

He signed the tweet Bob Ritchie, which is his real name.

In response, the pop culture website The A.V. Club joked: "Mr. Richie presumably then put down his phone, turned towards the nearest graffiti-scarred bar bathroom mirror, and had a stern discussion with himself about the history, evolution, and normalization of homophobic hate speech. Why? Because, in a Keyser Söze twist, Bob Richie was Kid Rock himself all along. Gasp!"

Watch Rock's initial tirade:

Ritchie (or Kid Rock) has an extensive past with spewing gay epithets.

Back in 2015, in an interview with The Guardian, he said while people want him to perform what he called "rap-rock," it has "turned into a lot of bullshit and it turned out to be pretty gay. ... If someone says you can't say 'gay' like that you tell them to go fuck themselves. You're not going to get anything politically correct out of me."

Ritchie has been getting slammed since his homophobic antic went viral — see the tweets below:
