When Jon Hamm went on Howard Stern on Monday, and the host went right for his guest's crotch.

"Let's gets into the most famous rumor about you with the whole penis thing," started Stern to an aghast Hamm.

"Jon, did they tell you on 'Mad Men' you must wear underwear? That your penis is so large that was, in fact, interfering with the performance?" Stern asked.

"I have worn underwear every single day of my life. Howard...," Hamm answered. "Yes, that's a rumor. First of all, who doesn't wear underwear?"

He continued. "I love a comfy boxer brief, thank you very much. I like a breathable cotton. Who doesn't?"

Stern jokingly said he was "proud" of Hamm for cleaning up the rumor.

"Back in 2013, rumors swirled that Hamm was forced to wear underwear by the 'Mad Men' crew in order to hide his bulge that was showing in his 1960s-style pants on set," reports E! News."At the time, photos of Hamm even went viral online—with fans buzzing over his seemingly visible manhood."

Things got more serious when Stern then asked Hamm if he would ever commit to one woman. He has been in a relationship with girlfriend Anna Osceola for over two years.

"This is another place in my life that I feel very settled and comfortable with," Hamm answered about his relationship with Osceola. "I'm in a relationship right now, and it's comfortable. It's a feeling of taking care of someone else and being taken care of."

"Hamm, 51, and Osceola, 34, made their red carpet debut as a couple in March when they posed for photographers at the Mercedes-Benz's Academy Awards viewing party followed by Vanity Fair's annual afterparty," reported Page Six.

Osceola met the actor in 2014 on set of "Mad Men," where she appeared as the character Clementine in the series finale. But they wouldn't be romantically linked until six years later when romance rumors swirled in early 2020."

Previously Hamm was in a long-term relationship with actress and screenwriter Jennifer Westfeldt from 1997 to 2015. The exes announced their breakup in a joint statement, vowing to "continue to be supportive of each other in every way possible moving forward."

With Stern, Hamm became even more personal, addressing his childhood trauma of losing his mom in 1981 when he was 10 years old.

"And it's also been a process of working on myself, my mental health, all the stuff of a therapist, and unpacking all of that trauma and realizing that you know when you lose somebody like that's so important to you like a mother so early that that creates a wound that blocks a lot of that emotional accessibility. And it's only been in the last couple of years of me kind of sitting down and really thinking about all that stuff that's made the relationship that I'm in now is even more meaningful and opened up the possibility of things like being married, having kids hope, you know, defining a new version of happiness, life," said Hamm.

He added, "This all that stuff that sounds hokey and whatever, but it's real and it's one of the better words, what I'm working for, right?"

Stern then when on to press Hamm to say that he would be getting married to Osceola, to which the actor responded: "I will not announce I will not announce that," but ended the conversation with by saying he's "very much" in love
