PopUps: Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello Announce Break Up, Twitter Reacts

Pop stars Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello took to Instagram Wednesday evening to announce that, after two years of dating, they are calling it quits.

The identical statements (except for font choice) were posted to their Instagram Stories and read: "Hey guys, we've decided to end our romantic relationship but out love for one another as humans is stronger than ever. we started out relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward."

Just Jared points out that the pair began dating in the summer of 2019 around the time they debuted their collaborative single "Señorita."
