Chuck Norris Backs Mike Huckabee For President

Less than 24 hours since former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee announced that he will run for president, action star Chuck Norris has come to his side, and said he supports the GOP presidential hopeful, the Hollywood Reporter points out.
In a recent interview with the New York Times, Norris, 75, proved to be one of Huckabee's biggest supporters, despite his failed 2012 bid for the White House.
"I still believe Mike Huckabee is the most qualified," Norris told the Times. "He has the moral clarity and experience to lead our great country forward."
Norris backed Huckabee in 2008 by appearing in the Republican's campaign ads. Norris' representative said he is ready to help Huckabee with his 2016 campaign.
In the past, Norris called Huckabee a "principled, authentic conservative."
Norris, who resides in Texas, said he had been very impressed with the other presidential candidates who are eyeing the White House. Nevertheless, the actor said Huckabee has a unique ability to communicate with both Democrats and Republicans.
Huckabee announced Tuesday he would once again be running for president next year. Shortly after, EDGE rounded up some of the politician's most outrageous, and anti-gay remarks from 2015 alone. You can check out that story by clicking here.
