PopUps: Azealia Banks Rumored to Appear on 'Celeb Big Brother' UK

READ TIME: 1 MIN.

She may be banned from Twitter but New York City rapper Azealia Banks could find a new audience across the pond.

A number of outlets, including British music site NME, are reporting Banks, along with legendary rapper Lil' Kim, are both set to star on the upcoming edition of "Celebrity Big Brother" in the U.K.

The rumors come after the many controversies involving the "212" rapper, who often lashes out against the LGBT community. In her last rant on Twitter, Banks went after former One Direction member Zayn Malik, claiming the pop star copied her aesthetic.

Many deemed her remarks racist and homophobic and Twitter seemed to agree by banning her from the social media platform. Still, the musician, who later apologized for the controversial rant, has been active on Facebook and Instagram and recently promised to tone down her anti-gay language, swearing she won't say the word "faggot" again.

Banks has yet to comment on the "Big Brother" rumors.

The Daily Star reports Lil' Kim is set to star on the reality show and will become one of the highest-paid personalities to star on "Celebrity Big Brother."

The new season of "Celebrity Big Brother 18" is set to air on July 28, just two days after "Big Brother 17" ends.
