Britney Spears to Appear on 'Carpool Karaoke'

Britney Spears is following in the footsteps of fellow pop divas, including Adele, Sia, Gwen Stefani among others, and will make an appearance on James Corden's very popular "The Late Late Show" skit "Carpool Karaoke."

Britney will ride shotgun with Corden in the next installment of the hit viral series. You can expect her and the late show host to cover the singer's hits on August 25, Variety reports.

Brit Brit's performance will come just a day before she releases her ninth album "Glory."

The "Toxic" singer's appearance will be the first since Corden belted it out with First Lady Michelle Obama (and special guest Missy Elliott).

Corden's "Carpool Karaoke" vids often bring in huge views on YouTube - Obama's clip- earned 49 million views, with Adele holding the record with 121 million views.
