Gus Kenworthy & Gay Olympic Swimmer Slam Daily Beast's Outing Article

The Daily Beast has been under fire after the website's Olympics reporter posted a story where he essentially trolled gay dating apps while in Rio, practically outing a few Olympic athletes. The story drew the ire of many readers, some of whom deemed the article homophobic.
Though the story was edited, then eventually taken down completely, openly gay Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy slammed the piece and its writer, Nico Hines, as did Amini Fonua, a gay Tongan Olympic swimmer.
Kenworthy, who came out last year after competing in the Sochi Olympics, took to Twitter Thursday to blast Hines.
Not long after, Fonua went on a Twitter rant against The Daily Beast.
