As news agencies continue to wrap their collective brains around lies told to police by Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte regarding vandalism in a Rio bathroom, unearthed footage shows that while swimming may be his forte, thinking skills (critical or otherwise) certainly are not.

In a 2013 morning show report aired on Fox 29's "Good Morning Philadelphia" program, Lochte is promoting his reality series "What Would Ryan Lochte Do?"

"My philosophy is if you're a man at night, you gotta be a man in the morning," was a gem of wisdom offered by the Olympian when asked what a woman could say to get his attention.

However, it was after the Lochte segment when the real entertainment started as co-anchors Sheinelle Jones and Mike Jerrick struggled to keep it together in the wake of the unintentionally hilarious interview.

"What Would Ryan Lochte Do?" was an eight episode reality series that ran on E! in 2013. It chronicled the life of the swimmer as he prepared for the 2016 Summer Olympics while simultaneously creating a fashion line.
